Hello!

Siyun and I were both consulting for a large client together. Immediately her ``can do`` approach and courage to ask questions brought value to the organization. Siyun was successful in navigating an ambiguous problem space. Leading with a plan (and sticking to it), she understood the audience's needs first, and then executed both within the projects constraints as well as identified future opportunities.

Siyun brought an empathic awareness of how a user might correctly understand or misunderstand the content. She also had it as a integral part of her process to seek out a variety of opinions of her colleagues and stake-holders, absorbing their feedback to iterate and improve the product's user experience. It was nice to see her work in action, elevating the often-times subtle and subjective process of design into a methodical, well-structured, feedback-driven process that produced more intuitive and approachable products.

Shoutout to Siyun for going above and beyond to create UX education video on defining problem statements. The content not only markets the company's UX expertise and capabilities but also supports internal education for our teammates.

Siyun is an extremely talented User Experience Practitioner that I have had the privilege of working with. She was faced with the challenging task of taking an existing product and revamping it based on her extensive skills in design and her ability to always maintain the user perspective.
